Booking Terms and Conditions.
Please read carefully the terms and conditions also the Disclaimer very carefully as they will apply to your contract with wreck and reef charters for every confirmed booking.For the purposes of these terms and conditions only, “We”, “Our”, “we”, “our”, mean wreck and reef charters “You”, "Your”, "you", "your", Mean you the customer.
To confirm your booking a 25% deposit will need to be taken. The balance in full will be due four weeks before the charter date.
Cancellation by you.
Where a cancellation is received less than four weeks before the date of the charter the payment will not be refunded, Cancellation by you before this date will forfeit 25% of the total Price. If the charter takes place on the elected day and you are late, do not participate in the activity, or decide not to go out, no refund will be given.
Cancellation by us.
The boat operates a minimum number (6) six persons to operate. Even if you have booked on the boat this minimum must be reached for the charter to take place. If you are booking individually we will endeavour to fill the remaining spaces, if this is not possible we may revise the plan or cancel the charter, in this event you will be given an option for another time, date or a full refund.
If we cancel the charter because you and/or any of the party in our reasonable opinion to be unfit to or not ready to depart port at the scheduled time you will be liable to the full cost of that days charter.
Weather and tides.
Due to weather or tidal conditions we reserve the right to change locations or departure times for your safety and operational requirements. On occasions due to sea, weather or safety considerations the charter may be cancelled at short notice, in this instance a full refund will be given.
You are responsible for the conduct of your own dive and for ensuring that you are trained have the appropriate qualifications’ for the diving to be undertaken. That all of your equipment is in good working condition and cylinders are in test. You must arrive at the dock at the specified time to ensure that equipment is correctly loaded and stored safely. All divers are required to have an SMB/DSMB. If you are a single booking we will endeavour to buddy you up with another diver with the same or higher qualification as yourself, (no guarantees). Because of our large tidal range, the boat will sail at the appointed time so allow sufficient time to get ready and make sure your cylinders have been charged.
Wreck and reef charter carries a full marine insurance, whilst this covers any incidence onboard up to 2m. Our insurance does not cover individuals once in the water.
We strongly advise divers to have there own dive insurance cover.
The diving at work regulations 1997.
You will not appoint us or our employees, agents and sub contractors as Diving Supervisors under the Above regulations in any circumstances unless we agree in writing.
All divers or parties will be required to read and sign a copy of the following disclaimer before leaving port. All references to wreck and reef charters in this section shall include wreck and reef charters employees, agents and sub-contractors.
I/We confirm that have read wreck and reef charters booking terms and conditions. I/We understand that a wreck and reef charter provides the charter trip to and from my/our chosen dive site only. For the avoidance of doubt I/WE understand that wreck and reef charters will not (and are not qualified) to provide any services advice instruction, equipment or otherwise in relation to the dive site, the dive itself or any other activity I/We choose to undertake when at the dive site.
I/We understand confirm that I/WE thoroughly understand the hazards of boat travel to and from my/our chosen dive site I/WE understand that these hazards include, but are not limited to drowning, slipping, or falling while onboard, being cut or struck by a boat, injuries occurring while getting on or off the boat, and other perils of the seas. I/We certify that I am/we are fully aware of and expressly assume these and all other risks involved in making the boat trip. I/We further confirm that I We will comply with wreck and reef charters written or verbal rules and regulations to boat safety and the use of the boat when traveling to and from the dive site.
Data protection act.
We will keep on record personal data that you provide to us. We will use that data for the purpose of complying with our obligations to you and communicating with you from time to time. We will only use the data for those purposes.
